By now, I would hope that you have noticed the circuit board background of our site. You may have also wondered why we chose this format. 1. It looks cool. 2. Computers have circuit boards... it's a website. 3. It looks cool. 4. Most importantly, it speaks to the true nature of salvation. What? Circuit board and salvation? Yes. Let me explain. When God speaks of salvation, he is talking about salvation from the punishment for sin, that is eternal death. The only way to escape that punishment is by receiving the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. When you trust in Jesus, he gives you a new heart, whose soul desire is to please God. The heart of a man before faith in Jesus seeks after its own way and loves sin. It is defective in God's sight and if we are honest in our own sight.

Similarly, when a computer's mother board goes bad, you can try as hard as you want, wish as hard as you want, the computer is not going to work. The circuit board must be replaced. Just like that circuit board, our heart is incapable of living to please God, it must also be replaced. We can try and wish but we are not in our own effort going to be able to satisfy God's righteous standard. Since God does not want anyone to be eternally punished, he made an eternal service agreement for heart replacement. You bring your old heart to him and he will give you a brand new one. What a deal. A heart that is after God's own heart. Will you be perfect? No. Will you fall? Yes. But you will grow into the image placed on your internal hard drive, Jesus' image.

 So how do you obtain this new heart and what is the catch? It is simple but not free. Anyone who says salvation does not cost you anything is not being totally honest. The steps to salvation are as follows:

1. Realize you are a sinner.You may be a nice guy or gal but you have lusted, you have lied, and you have cussed. If you have not done these outwardly, you have done so inwardly. (See the list to the right for specific details.)

2. Realize that you cannot obtain this new heart on your own.

3. Repent or turn away from the sinful behaviors of the past heart.

4. Confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God has raised him from the dead.

5. Go and immediately tell someone that you have a brand new heart. Trust me, when the new heart is installed, you will not be able to resist telling someone.

6. Go find a Bible believing chuch. Email me, I will point you in the right direction.
